ABOUT VLADENA MINEVA
At the age of 5 Vladena Mineva was admitted to the National Music School ‘Lyubomir Pipkov’ with the highest grade. Since then Vladena showed outstanding talent and excellent performance at various concerts and competitions. She graduated in the class of Zornitsa Ilarionova and Blagorodna Taneva. Currently she is a bachelor student at Codarts in Rotterdam in the class of the well known violin player Frederieke Saeijs.
At the age of 12 Vladena was admitted as a junior student to the class of the renowned violin player prof. Mario Hosen at New Bulgarian University. For several years she has been a scholarship holder of International Music Academy Orpheus in Vienna. Vladena attended the Talent Music Master Courses in Italy in the class of prof. Mauro Iurato and was invited to participate in the Soloists’ Concert there.
She took master classes of renowned violin players like prof. Michael Frischenschlager, Julius Horvath, Dora Schwarzberg, etc. She was a soloist in various concerts. She was a member of the Youth Symphonic Orchestra where in 2019 and 2021 she was a Concert Master.
Vladena does not perceive herself as a traditional classical musician – she is eager to know more about the world music and to try different styles.

On the commemorative day of Star Wars May 4th Young Philharmonic in Sofia celebrated 90-anniversary of John Williams with a gala concert with Vladena Mineva in the role a Concert Master. The orchestra, directed by Slavil Dimitrov, performed the popular film music of the world famous movie Star Wars. The audience in the most prestigious concert hall in Bulgaria applauded excitedly for a long time the young musicians.

Vladena was invited to give an interview for the National Dario Radio as one of the prominent young violin players. She talked frankly and open about her love to music and especially to violin. VLADENA OPENED THE EXHIBITION ‘THE STOPPED TIME’

Vladena opened the anniversary exhibition of Hristo Hristov ‘The Stopped Time’. She contributed to the atmosphere of Thracian princesses and memories from ancient times with the wonderful performance of Partita 2 Allemande of J. S. Bach. The exhibition was held in the gallery of the popular Largo of Sofia next to the Bulgarian President’s office and National Parliament building.

The Children’s Choir of Bulgaria gave a concert in the National Palace of Culture under the patronage of the President of the Republic Rumen Radev. In front of the crowded hall the Choir performed the most emblematic Bulgarian songs. VLADENA PARTICIPATES IN A SPECIAL RECORDING DEDICATED TO MEDIC PEOPLE WHO FIGHT AGAINST COVID-19

The youth orchestra of the National Music School recorded a special piece dedicated to the tireless fight against Covid-19 of the medics: 'You Are Hero' by the Bulgarian artist Slavil Dimitrov. The aim of the artwork is to show appreciation to the work of the medics and encourage them to continue taking care of us.

For a consecutive year in row the talent of Vladena Mineva was appreciated and she got a scholarship from International Music Academy Orpheus in Vienna. Although the extremely difficult year for the musicians worldwide due to the outbreak of COVID-19 Vladena did not give up but constantly made huge efforts and showed incredible discipline to get prepared and to win the scholarship. She applied for the academy with Bruch Violin Concerto N2 in D minor, Mendelssohn Violin Concerto E minor, Bartok Romanian Folk Dances, Kreisler Marche Miniature Viennoise.
